Automated Location Events
When connected to your vehicle with the included USB cable, your ThereYet? GPS Tracker automatically uploads key Location Events to the free ThereYet? App:
– “Power ON” event when you start your vehicle
– “Milestone” events every 5+ miles (configurable in the app) while power is on
– “Power OFF” event when you switch off your vehicle
Just connect the Tracker to a USB or cigarette lighter port that turns on and off with the engine, so that your Power On / Off events match the start and finish of every trip.
On-Demand Location Events
You can request additional Location Events from the ThereYet? App at any time!
– While the Tracker is powered via USB, an “On-Demand” Location Event will be added to your on-going Trip
– While the Tracker is powered by its internal battery, a separate “On-Demand” Location Event will be uploaded to the App any time you wish
This means you can also use your ThereYet? Tracker to track things where you have no power, like a backpack for example. For best results, fully charge the tracker’s battery beforehand. And keep in mind that GPS reception is only available outdoors, while locations will be approximate when indoors.

Most other Trackers give you updates as frequently as every 15 seconds, even if your vehicle is stuck in traffic.
