Precautions for First-Time Use
Q1: Why can’t the recorded video hear any sound?A1: The microphone is turned off. There is a microphone prohibition icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
{Method}： Turn on the microphone function. Find the [Menu] button (middle button) on the left side of the recorder, press the [Down] button on the left side, find the [Microphone], click [OK], and you will see two options for [Off /On]. Select [On] and click the confirm button [OK].
Q2: Why does the screen turn off or dim in a short period of time?A2: The screen light up time is too short.
{Method}: Reset the time when the screen lights up. Press the [Menu] button (middle button) on the left side of the recorder, then press the [M] button on the right side, select [Screen Saver], click the confirm button [OK], and you will see four options [Off, 30 seconds, 1 Minute, 2 Minutes]. Choose the time you want the recorder to stay on screen continuously, （Off means always on screen, or choose a 30 second, 1 or 2 minute on screen time）. After selecting, click the confirm button [OK].
Q3: Why can’t loop recording work?A3: The recording loop function has been turned off.
{Method}: Turn on loop recording function. Press the [Menu] button, find the [Loop Recording], click the confirm button [OK], and you will see four options [Off, 1 Minute, 3 Minutes, 5 Minutes]. If you choose off, there will be no loop recording. If you choose 3 or 5 minutes, the recorder will record many short videos of 3 or 5 minutes.
Q4: Pressing the button does not work?A4: While recording, other buttons are not working.
{Method}: Check if recording is in progress and see if there is a red recording time marker in the upper right corner. Only by clicking the OK button and turning off the recording function (there is no red recording time in the upper right corner) will other buttons take effect.
