Is the wireless adapter capable of working with multiple phones?
It supports iPhones (iOS 8.0 and above) and Android phones (Android 11.0 and above). It allows connection to only one device at a time. When pairing with a new phone, please disconnect the current one first.
Having trouble with disconnection?
Once connected, the phone’s Wi-Fi will be used by the wireless CarPlay/Android Auto system. Connection drops are often due to Wi-Fi interference. It’s advisable to ignore other Wi-Fi networks while using the wireless adapter.
Having audio input or output problems?
Check your phone’s Bluetooth to see if it is connected to another device. If it is, disconnect from other auto-connected Bluetooth devices. By default, it will automatically reconnect to the last paired phone.
Will the wireless adapter disconnect from my phone when I turn off my car?
Yes, it will. However, some cars continue to power their USB ports for a short time after the engine is turned off. In these cases, it may stay connected to your phone until the USB port powers down or your phone moves out of range.
