This is a radio that requires specific programming to communicate with the other radios you may have or be using it with. Programming is available free with purchase if details or a print out of your settings is available. Otherwise, when your radio arrives, you will need to take it to a local Motorola Dealer or other radio service center that can program it. You will also need one of your existing radios in order to have them copy the existing programming you are using on to this one.
