First off the case is extremely tough and the four latches means its very secure. The weather seal helps keep out water and dust which is very important for my expensive camera gear. This is where I messed up. I didn't read carefully enough because I thought this came with pick n pluck foam, and it doesn't. I called Pelican and they don't make pick n pluck for the Vault. So I tried to cut the foam and I messed it up. Next I looked for a Pelican case that had that feature but I really like the vault case, plus there was the money to spend on another case which I didn't need. I looked at the inside measurements and compared them to other Pelican cases and found the Pelican 1550 was almost identical. I ordered the pick n pluck for $57.15 and the fit was perfect. The picture shows the Vault with the pick n pluck foam. I paid a little more but in the end the Vault case is what I wanted and I am extremely happy.
