You can test this in areas without sunlight.Please format the memory card on the dash cam before use. The format option can be found in the menu.There is no built-in battery for safety reasons. Always connect the dash cam to an external power source while in use.The dash cam has an auto power-off feature and will shut down after 5 seconds if there is no external power connection.The package includes a 3M adhesive mount kit and a suction cup mount.
