Little is know about the upcoming season of Black Mirror, other than what’s been revealed in the official trailer. We know the show will tell three different stories covering themes such as infidelity, smartphone addiction, internet fame, and artificial intelligence.
In the trailer, we meet a young woman whose only friend is an Alexa-like doll, as well as a woman who finds escape into virtual worlds. There are also hints at how technology can impact the trust between two partners.
As with past Black Mirror episodes, the upcoming season will explore modern themes and how technology can sometimes negatively impact society.
