FIFA 21 Festival of FUTball Path to Glory Team 1 confirmed featuring Phil Foden


The FUT 21 Festival of FUTball promo is here, with EA Sports launching the Road to Glory Team 1.

EA Sports first announced the FIFA 21 Festival of FUTball promo on Wednesday, June 9 by uploading a loading screen to the Ultimate Team game mode, confirming the first promo launch since the FUT 21 Team of the Season promo ended.

The Festival of FUTball promo has kicked off with the launch of the Road to Glory Team 1, which features upgradeable player items that upgrade after their international teams achieve a certain number of wins in a row.

The items will receive a plus two upgrade after three wins, another plus one upgrade after four wins and another one plus upgrade after five wins.

Finally, should the player featured in the Festival of FUTball promo achieve six straight wins, they will then receive a five-star upgrade to their weak-foot and skill move rating.

From brand new special Player Item types to a variety of themed Squad Building Challenges and Objectives, get into the festival spirit this summer in FUT.

EA Sports are kicking the festivities off with special Festival of FUTball Path to Glory live items that upgrade based on National Team wins.

These Special Items upgrade based on the number of times their National Team wins from June 11, 2021 to July 16, 2021.

This only includes wins that the Senior Men’s National Football Team accrue during that period.

The associated National Team for each FOF Path to Glory player is determined by the FUT Nation of that item.

Upgrade Format:

  • 3 Wins = +2 OVR Upgrade
  • 4 Wins = +1 OVR Upgrade
  • 5 Wins = +1 OVR Upgrade
  • 6 Wins = 5*/5* Weak Foot/Skill Moves Upgrades

FIFA 21 is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, with FIFA 21 next-gen also available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

Players who have purchased one of the new next-generation consoles including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and who have already previously purchased FIFA 21 on their older consoles, can now upgrade to FIFA 21 next-gen for free through Dual Entitlement.

Players can also carry over their progress and content in Ultimate Team and Volta Football in FIFA 21.
