How do I know my video data is being protected?
JAIOT has adopted self-developed private encryption protocol, which achieves one-way encryption to ensure that passwords cannot be cracked. Even if intercepted, your video clips transmitted over the network cannot be played by others.
Can I trust cloud storage with my data?
JAIOT utilizes encryption technologies including SSL asymmetric encryption and AES256. Each device is assigned a unique key to ensure that users can only access the video files of their own account.
Why can’t the SD card store the video recordings?
1. Camera has read the card
Since SD cards have limited reading & writing in the lifespan, f the micro SD card has been used for a long time with a sharp drop in writing speed (close to the write life span), then it is necessary to change to a better and new micro SD card.
2.Camera can not read the card
(1)Our camera does not support SD card hot-plugging, so before you insert the micro SD card, please unplug your camera first, or it won’t read the card.
(2) The micro SD card should be in FAT32 format. If not, please format your card via Computer.
Why can’t I delete the footage/Motion Clips?
Either the footage or the event history can not be deleted manually in iSeeHome App. This is a protection against anyone destroying potential evidence.
1. For Cloud Storage, the clips can be deleted automatically after a certain period of time (according to your purchased plan).
2. For SD Card Storage, the clips will be deleted automatically on a first-in, first-out basis once the storage is full. You can manually delete them from a computer with an SD card reader.
My device is not working/ defective
1. If the indicator light is on, which means that the power adapter and power cord are functioning correctly, please press the reset button for 10 seconds until you hear the prompt voice, and then re-setup the camera.
2. If the indicator light is off, please ensure that the power supply is functioning correctly, and try another outlet.

Why can’t I receive notifications ?
To receive instant alert notification,
√ Turn ON the notifications feature for your mobile device;
√ Enable Notification banner from Settings on iSeeHome App;
√ Set Motion Detection Alert for JAIOT camera(s).
When using an Android device, you should allow the iSeeHome App to run in the background from settings, enable app notifications, and allow the app to run while in power-saving mode.
